PattyCake Productions, the creative duo celebrated for their cinematic musical short films and original storytelling, proudly announces the release of their brand-new original song and video, “PattyCake Productions is proud to announce the release of its newest narrative musical project, Everything I Never Said: The Evolution of Glinda, premiering exclusively to patrons. The project serves as a companion piece to last year’s acclaimed release, Into the Storm: The Evolution of the Wicked Witch, and continues the studio’s tradition of honoring beloved characters through cinematic reinterpretation, original musical storytelling, and theatrical transformation..”

While the Evolution series celebrates the many iterations of iconic figures, Everything I Never Said goes further—offering an emotional re-examination of Glinda’s journey in a way rarely portrayed on stage or screen. Rather than focusing on her well-known whimsical charm, this project explores a pivotal but quick stage moment in the musical Wicked: the aftermath of Elphaba’s melting, when Glinda must grapple with responsibility, loss, and identity.

“Glinda has always been portrayed as confident, bubbly, and effortlessly adored,” says PattyCake Productions director and co-creator Tony. “But we’ve always questioned what happens in the silence after the spotlight. When the smile fades. When she realizes she must become Glinda the Good—whether she’s ready or not.”

Everything I Never Said marks a meaningful return for singer and actress Rachel Potter (Addams Family, Evita, X-Factor), who previously performed as Glinda in Wicked early in her theatrical career.

“Playing Glinda was such a brief chapter in my life, so I never imagined I’d get another chance to leave my mark on her the way I was able to with Wednesday,” Potter shares. “So to step back into Oz—not just as Glinda again, but through an entirely new original song—has been surreal and incredibly special.”

She continues:

“I’ve quietly hoped for an opportunity to return to Wicked ever since I left because I loved the role so much. But life moved forward, the timing never aligned, and I assumed that door had closed. Then Tony called about this project, and suddenly I wasn’t just revisiting Glinda—I was discovering who she could be.”

For PattyCake Productions, the collaboration is just as meaningful.

“From the moment we heard the first demo, we knew this was hers,” Tony says. “This project isn’t just a celebration of Glinda—it’s a celebration of Rachel’s artistry, storytelling, and breathtaking vocal ability.”

'Everything I Never Said" offers longtime fans of Wicked, Oz-lore, and Glinda herself a new lens through which to experience a character the world thinks it already knows.
